A lot of florists will shy away from this question as it is very difficult to answer. There are a lot of factors that will affect the cost of your flowers, and we don't want to give anyone false expectations but we're going to give you an actual figure for you to use as a base to start planning with.
And of course, we can only advise you based on our own pricing, all of our flowers being of the highest quality artificial flowers on the market.
Let's get started.
Bridal party
A bride's bouquet, and let's say 3 bridesmaids (a fairly popular number) with 4 buttonholes for the rest of the bridal party.....
Around $1000 will cover it.
(Australian native flowers will always bump this up)
Ceremony flowers
This does vary greatly depending on how much decorating you want, but 2 altar arrangements and 2 aisle arrangements will start from $1000.
Arch hire from $500.
There are lots of options, chair decorations, continuous aisle flowers, petals,
but use $1000 as a base cost.
Reception flowers
This is always where the budget gets stretched.
Individual table arrangements might not sound expensive, but if you have 10 tables, that number gets big, fast!
Again, there are so many options, but allow at least $1500 for the table decor for an average sized wedding, if you're on a budget.
Add another $250 for the bridal table and $75 for cake flowers if needed.
